Yii3 application templates use
StreamTarget, whose default destination isphp://stdout. They do not create application log files;stderrrequires explicit configuration. This can surprise users deploying without containers, especially because PHP-FPM discards worker output by default.Document the default in the logging guide and keep shared deployment guidance in the general web server guide. Link the five server recipes to that guidance and retain the Nginx-specific caveat. Explain Docker log collection and PHP-FPM output capture, and show how to switch to a rotating file target while retaining all eight log levels.
Disable the Vale acronym definition, heading capitalization, and heading acronym rules.
The default comes from the application logger configuration and the StreamTarget constructor.
