Port the maintenance-updates caller from the starter: one PR per update kind (Node.js, pnpm, gitleaks, catalog) on the current major. Move saveExact from .npmrc into pnpm-workspace.yaml, since pnpm 12 reads only auth settings from .npmrc, and add engineStrict. maintenance-updates.yml, ported from the starter: each week it keeps one PR open per update kind (Node.js, pnpm, gitleaks,catalog:), for updates on the current major only. Nothing auto-merges.valuecodes/automationv0.8.0 (was v0.4.0).saveExactfrom.npmrcintopnpm-workspace.yaml(pnpm 12 reads only auth settings from.npmrc), addsengineStrict, and drops the unusedengines.pnpm.AGENTS.mdcovers the updates workflow and the approve-to-run step. The CloudflareNODE_VERSION/PNPM_VERSIONvariables are now set before an update PR is merged, and no longer hardcode pnpm 12.11.2.Repo setting needed: Settings → Actions → General → turn on Allow GitHub Actions to create and approve pull requests.
How to test
After merging, start Maintenance dashboard and Maintenance updates from the Actions tab (
workflow_dispatch), and check the dashboard issue and themaintenance-updates/*PRs.Security review
