Checking an uploaded PDF used to be described as a single action: pick a regulation, click Check Document, watch the analysis. The first check on a file now reads it first, which takes minutes on a long document, and both the reading and the check run in the background where they can be watched and stopped. A reader following the current page waits at a screen the page never mentions. Three changes, all on the HTML side: - The step-by-step include gains a callout for the reading step: where to watch it, that the check starts itself when it lands, and that closing the tab no longer loses it. The training decks render separate prose from this include and are untouched -- they abbreviate the same flow and state nothing that is now false. - Run management said "each completed check is saved automatically as a run". A stopped check is saved too, so it now covers stopping one: keeping or discarding the answers, that a stopped run cannot be published, and that its export says the check did not finish. - The notifications page described My Inbox as updates only. Document jobs appear there too, and they behave differently enough to be worth saying so: the update filters do not apply, they are never marked read, and dismissing one hides it in that browser rather than for the account. …filtering Adds the Result Type step to the Calculation field type (inventory and artifact variants), notes that calculated and aggregation values are stored and refreshed in the background, and adds a 'Filter by calculated and aggregation fields' section to the inventory and artifact filtering pages covering type-driven operators, the last-calculated notice, Recalculate now, and the has error / has wrong value type operators. From Luis Pallares's review: the create button is Create Draft; the My Inbox widget has the same filters and selection as the sidebar inbox (frontend #2952); Mark all as read is a toolbar button that marks only the loaded updates matching the current filters; older updates load on scroll, with Load more shown when filters hide everything loaded; Info and Warning levels differ in color as well as icon. Product decision after Luis Pallares's review: the Inbox pins every live announcement above other updates, Critical first (backend _announcement_pin_rank, frontend splitPinnedAnnouncements).
