The public thread API currently discards image entries, and explicit child environments still inherit the parent environment. Video-analysis callers therefore cannot reliably attach frames or isolate subscription authentication.

Forward ordered local images, reject unsupported inputs, add typed isolation/session flags, and use the documented JSON flag. Stop and reap process groups on cancellation and consumer errors, expose the active CLI PID for recovery, and reject incomplete streams. Version: 0.2.3.

Validation: 66 RSpec examples and RuboCop pass on Ruby 4.0.7. Executable fake-CLI tests cover environment replacement, image arguments, partial streams, concurrent cancellation, orphaned descendants, and transient macOS errors while process groups exit. A live Codex CLI 0.154.0 ChatGPT-auth run correctly distinguished two attached synthetic images through the public API. Videogen's local-provider compatibility probe verified an empty outgoing tool list with its selected configuration.
