Requirements

In this section we will look at the hardware and software requirements of CATE.

Hardware requirements

Processor

• Intel/ AMD multicore processors tested.

Memory

• Minimum: 5GB
• Recommended: 15GB

GPU

• Minimum: CUDA-enabled Nvidia GPU
  • List of CUDA-enabled GPUs currently available

Software requirements

Operating System

• Unix
• Linux
• Windows will require Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
  • WSL installation guide

NVIDIA's CUDA toolkit (nvcc compiler)

• Minimum: 11.3.0

C++ compiler (gcc compiler)

• Minimum: 10.2.0
