New in this release: the UTF-8 byte sequence can now be shown in decimal and in the backslash-escaped octal notation git uses for non-ASCII bytes, and a "Copy character details..." command opens a dialog with every field for the character at the caret, ready to copy to the clipboard. The description was refreshed accordingly: the status-bar fields were reorganized so that hexadecimal, decimal and octal all describe the same UTF-8 bytes rather than a mix of bytes and code point.
