refactor(widget): type routes through a registry - #609
Added reusable navigation and link components that carry flow information between screens.
Added distinct page transitions for Compact and Dashboard layouts.
Bug Fixes
Updated navigation across activity, positions, borrowing, and transaction flows, including redirects and deep links.
Improved route matching for trailing slashes and encoded parameters.
Yield category changes now respect pending flow leave confirmations.
Refactor
Standardized navigation across layouts while keeping existing screens and flows available.
Third of three stacked PRs: #607 renames → #608 Layout separation → #609 route registry and stack-review fixes. Base: #608.

Define each absolute Widget route once. Route trees, navigation, tab resolution, flow keys, and pathname parsing use the registry.
Bind navigation-state schemas to individual routes or Review/Steps/Complete flow groups. WidgetNavigation, WidgetNavigate, and WidgetLink accept registry-built destinations.
Keep Layout-specific transition presets and selection in application composition, not the shared shell Feature. Animation timings are unchanged by this correction.
Carry Dashboard category choices in navigation state. A blocked category navigation cannot change the page key, tab selection, or running Execution. Stay preserves the signing flow; Leave applies the category after the exit. The latest accepted press during an exit wins.
Keep the stack fixes on this tip because the category correction uses the typed route-state interface, without rewriting the lower PRs.
The registry retains URI-encoded parameters and segment-boundary matching. The no-raw-widget-path rule and Layout route-tree checks enforce the route contract.
Evidence
Before: the new browser regression asks before a dashboard category tab abandons a stake the wallet is signing failed after pressing DeFi while the wallet signature request was pending: expect(dialog.query()).not.toBeNull() received null.
After: that journey passes with real Motion animations enabled. The dialog persists; Stay keeps Stake and the original signature request; a subsequent DeFi press and Leave reaches the DeFi Earn page without another signature request.
mise exec -- pnpm check passes: all-workspace lint, widget type/schema checks, architecture/unused/duplication checks, all tests, widget builds, declaration-consumer checks, host-bundler checks, and example builds.

Actual playground smoke against the real API: Compact and Dashboard both render; rapid DeFi → Stake navigation settles on Stake and its staking details. Wallet signing/Stay/Leave is exercised by the isolated Chromium journey, not against a live wallet.
Merge Danger
Door: two-way
Blast Radius: navigation
Category changes now wait for router acceptance before affecting page identity or selection. They still wait for the leaving page's exit before applying the category.
Flow Review, Steps, and Complete keep their page identity; abandoning an Execution still uses the existing Leave Confirmation and scoped teardown.
The Layout requirement on route building is compile-time only. Invalid runtime navigation still reaches existing redirects.
Merging this PR will not cause a version bump for any packages. If these changes should not result in a new version, you're good to go. If these changes should result in a version bump, you need to add a changeset.

Walkthrough
The PR centralizes Widget route definitions in a typed registry. It replaces raw path strings with registry-built paths, typed navigation targets, and route-state helpers. It also updates layout selection, feature route matching, deep-link handling, and flow navigation for borrow and yield journeys.

Summary
Route registry and navigation API packages/widget/src/services/navigation/*, packages/widget/src/features/navigation/*, packages/widget/src/app/runtime/application-router.ts, packages/widget/tests/services/navigation/*, tools/ast-grep/*, packages/widget/ARCHITECTURE.md
The new registry builds and matches encoded, typed routes, including stateful flow destinations. Navigation commands and React helpers accept route targets. The application router emits location objects. Architecture guidance and an AST rule address raw absolute Widget paths.
Application route trees and layout matching packages/widget/src/app/layouts/*, packages/widget/src/app/routes/*, packages/widget/src/app/composition/providers/mount-animation/*, packages/widget/src/app/runtime/application-router.ts, packages/widget/tests/app/*
Compact and Dashboard route trees, tab matching, prefetch checks, and fallback paths now use registered routes. Layout route tests check registered patterns and layout mounting.
Feature route matching, navigation, and links use route registry helpers. Deep-link observations use typed identifiers and registered route builders. Several position-details path and match helpers are removed.
Borrow transaction-flow routes and state packages/widget/src/features/borrow-transaction-flow/*, packages/widget/tests/features/borrow-transaction-flow/*
Borrow-flow destinations are selected by flow entry and carry session and action data in route targets. Route components use those destinations for review, execution, completion, and fallback navigation.
Yield transaction-flow routes and state packages/widget/src/features/yield-transaction-flow/*, packages/widget/tests/features/yield-transaction-flow/*, packages/widget/tests/features/yield-entry/*, packages/widget/tests/app/journeys/staking-flow/*
Yield-flow destinations use mount-specific route definitions and state. Flow routes read sessions and handoffs from registered route state, and flow operations navigate through stateful destinations.
stakekit/widget#608: PR #608 moves route trees and shells into layout composition and makes Layout own route mounting. PR #609 continues that design with registry-backed layout routing and layout presentation selection.
stakekit/widget#602: PR #602 adds flow finish destinations that return completed transactions to their owning tab. PR #609 centralizes tab and flow paths in the route registry and carries typed finish destinations in flow navigation.
stakekit/widget#596: PR #596 adds MERGE to the pending-action type contract. PR #609 uses YieldPendingActionType in route validation and deep-link data.
No merge-blocking regression is established; the widget’s stateful flow navigation preserves its route state.

Route paths were plain strings built, matched, and parsed in many places,
so renaming a route broke callers silently.
- Add the Route Registry (services/navigation/widget-routes.ts): one
definition per route with typed params, build, match and matchPrefix,
and the Layouts that mount it. Building a route some Layout does not
mount requires naming the Layout.
- Flow groups (Review, Steps, Complete per mount) carry the navigation
state their owner binds with `withState`, replacing hand decoding.
- WidgetNavigation accepts only registry-built paths; React adapters
live in the navigation Feature. Pathname parsing uses registry matching.
- Enforce with ast-grep (no raw widget paths) and a test that each Layout
mounts exactly the routes declared for it.
Carry category choices in typed route state so blocked navigation cannot remount Steps.
Keep Stay on the current execution and apply accepted categories after the page exit.
Move layout transition selection into application composition and cover category Stay/Leave
with an animation-enabled browser regression.
