Summary
Relationship to existing PRs
This narrowly supersedes the insufficient Vite 8.0.16 update in #135 and overlaps the Vite 8.2.2 portion of broader #142. Both are below the current 8.3.3 security floor. Those PRs are left unchanged; maintainers can reconcile them during review. The SvelteKit update in #141 is outside this patch.

Updates to the current supported Vite 8 security floor. Related advisory: GHSA-v2wj-q39q-566r . No claim of observed exploitation or externally reachable dev servers.
Validation
Passed with pinned Bun 1.3.11 and Node 24.19.0:
bun install --frozen-lockfile --ignore-scriptscheckand productionbuild, using a clearly synthetic PUBLIC_CONVEX_URL only for compilation. No backend calls or deployment.bun x ultracite checkandgit diff --checkThe first check/build failed because PUBLIC_CONVEX_URL was absent; reruns passed with the compile-time placeholder. Svelte check retains an existing missing Node type-definition warning. Live backend/browser integration remains unverified.
