[Discussion] Rethinking Code UI Layout and Readability #752
The current UI for the code section could benefit from a fresh perspective to improve the overall developer experience (DX) and readability. I'd like to open this issue as a brainstorming hub to rethink how we present the Code UI.
What we need ideas on:
Layout & Hierarchy: How can we better organize the code view, sidebar, and toolbars?
Theming & Readability: Improvements to contrast, syntax highlighting, and dark/light mode toggle integration.
Responsiveness: Ensuring the code environment feels native and usable across different screen sizes.
Join the Discussion!
Rather than jumping straight into a single solution, I want to gather community feedback on current pain points. Feel free to drop your ideas, feature requests, or links to other platforms that do this well in the comments below.
(Note: As someone who works across both UX/UI design and software engineering, I am happy to help draft some wireframes and drive the visual architecture once we narrow down our core needs!)
