Memex is a simple conversational assistant that remembers things. Tell it something once, in ordinary language, and it can recall it later — in a new conversation or a different language. Use it just for yourself, or share the link so the people around you draw on the same memory.
Everyone has small things they don't want to forget, and so does every group: a date, a place, a plan, who is bringing what, when the next thing is. That knowledge lives in scattered heads, notes, and old chats, and the moment you need one small answer, it can be hard to find.
Notes and pinned messages don't quite fix it. They're easy to lose, hard to search, and never in the same place for everyone.
