* [highlights] Fix slop tests and docs (#1177)

* feat(docs): redesign Highlights playground

Visitors now see focused product copy, an editable TSX example, and a
second playground for exploring the full language catalog.

Split the playground into hero and language variants, add responsive
controls and language icons, and keep theme previews editable in place.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): add Highlights benchmark evidence

Visitors can compare large-file throughput, process memory, themed token
performance, and live-edit latency directly on the Highlights page.

Present the published measurements with accessible figures and link the
methodology beside concise notes about scales and test conditions.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* docs(diffs): simplify Highlights hero links

Keep the hero's supporting copy focused on the package source by
removing the language count and benchmark methodology link.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(docs): tighten mobile benchmark charts

Reduce benchmark card padding and reserve less space for values on small
screens. Align compact values with the bars while preserving the existing
layout at the sm breakpoint.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): add the Pierre letterhead to product homes

Show the Pierre Computer Company masthead above the Diffs and Trees home
pages, with project links and a branded cursor treatment. Simplify the
product header beneath it so the company and cross-product navigation live
in one consistent place.

* feat(docs): unify product navigation

People can move between Diffs, Trees, themes, icons, and Highlights
from the same desktop or mobile navigation.

Replace the product letterhead with shared navigation on the product
homes, add a More menu for secondary destinations, and publish the
Pierre icon gallery with footer and sitemap links.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): refine Highlights landing page

Visitors now see a focused overview, current benchmark figures, and a
dedicated install call to action after exploring the feature details.

Move installation controls out of the hero, align the page shell with
the shared header, and refresh the September 25 benchmark results.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): streamline product navigation

People can reach each product's primary sections from the header, while
secondary destinations and sibling products live in the More menu.

Promote Highlights in Diffs, restore the Pierre company attribution,
align the mobile menu, and remove the superseded letterhead.

* feat(docs): showcase Highlights browser performance

Visitors see the animated Highlights identity and a seven-engine browser
comparison before trying the playground.

Share the rainbow treatment between the hero and benchmark bar, render
the recorded timings from published data, and remove the duplicate
install section.

* fix(docs): use the duotone Wasm icon in the gallery hero

The Icons hero mixes a solid WebAssembly glyph into its multicolor icon
examples, making that sample inconsistent with its neighbors.

Use the existing duotone asset so the hero presents the intended icon
style.

* feat(docs): showcase Highlights HTML performance

Show visitors how Highlights compares with Shiki across large-file HTML
generation, themed token output, live edits, and process memory.

Add detailed throughput and memory visualizations, place them in the landing
page's benchmark flow, and brighten the shared rainbow palette to match the
updated presentation.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): add Highlights install guidance

Tell Diffs users when the Highlights integration will become available and
how to enable it during the planned beta.

Add package-manager install controls with copy feedback at the end of the
landing page, and label the hero playground as a Shiki replacement.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): polish Highlights benchmark visuals

Readers now see the browser and HTML throughput results in compact,
muted cards with clearer dividers, labels, and supporting notes. The
older performance comparison is hidden so the newer benchmark sections
carry the page narrative.

Align bars and measurements across rows, show explicit Shiki speedups,
and move benchmark references into a shared muted-link treatment. Also
soften the hero glow to balance the revised section styling.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): add Highlights agent setup flow

Visitors can install Highlights with one pnpm command, open its agent
setup menu, or jump directly to the docs from the install section. The
setup card now appears before the company section so those actions stay
close to the product overview.

Extend the shared agent configuration with Highlights skill metadata and
a prompt that follows the standalone package's supported APIs. Clarify
that the Diffs highlighter integration remains unreleased.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(docs): declare SVG asset imports

The docs typecheck runs before Next generates its ambient image types in a
clean checkout, so package SVG imports cannot be resolved.

Declare SVG assets alongside the existing PNG declaration so standalone
typechecks recognize the icon imports.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): animate the Highlights hero gradient

Visitors see a moving radial color mesh across the highlighted hero
word, with the soft glow following the same animation.

Use a dedicated 14-second loop for the hero while preserving the
benchmark rainbow animation and disabling motion for reduced-motion
preferences.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(docs): clarify Highlights benchmark scales

Readers can compare benchmark bars against explicit linear scales and see
all browser timings in milliseconds. Small nonzero competitor results now
remain visible without changing their proportional widths.

Describe the reciprocal-time browser formula and raw HTML throughput
scale, improve benchmark value labels for screen readers, and give muted
links explicit base and interaction colors.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* docs(docs): render the Highlights install command as a file

Readers now see the package command in the same interactive file
presentation as the other Highlights examples instead of a plain fenced
block.

Preload the install snippet with the shared code-example pipeline and
pass the rendered file into the Highlights MDX scope.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): refine install and mobile navigation

Highlights visitors now see a compact, left-aligned install card that
presents manual setup and agent guidance together. Mobile visitors see a
clear break between primary page links and supporting destinations.

Reduce the install card spacing, update its setup copy, and move the
mobile menu divider before Themes and Icons.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(docs): improve benchmark responsiveness

Benchmark comparisons now fit narrow screens without horizontal scrolling,
and HTML speedup bars use comparable scaling across languages.

Stack timing rows on small viewports, normalize Highlights bars to the
reported speedup range, and size each Shiki baseline against its row. Keep
small nonzero bars visible with an explicit one-pixel floor and clarify
captions and accessible labels.

* feat(docs): brighten the dark Highlights hero

Dark mode now uses the default brighter mesh palette for the Highlights
hero while the alternate palette is evaluated.

Disable only the hero-specific dark override so the benchmark gradients
keep their existing dark treatment.

* feat(docs): refine Highlights benchmarks

Visitors now see clearer benchmark cards earlier on the Highlights page,
with direct scales, concise labels, and more readable comparisons across
screen sizes.

Reuse the animated product gradient for highlighted results, reserve a
visible floor for small values, and simplify the supporting benchmark
copy and layout.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): refine Highlights demo surfaces

Visitors now see the language and benchmark demos on consistent dark
surfaces, while graph cards remain distinct in either page theme.

Default the language playground to dark, scope Pierre Dark tokens to the
benchmark cards with a quieter root-dark fill, and align card radii with
the homepage examples.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(docs): tighten benchmark duration labels

Show benchmark values as compact unit labels so the chart's duration
column stays visually consistent at every breakpoint.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* feat(docs): add Highlights social card

Give shared Highlights links dedicated artwork instead of the default Diffs
card. Point both Open Graph and Twitter metadata at the supplied image.

Clarify the performance summary by stating the measured speedup in
plain language and removing the extra implementation detail.

* fix(docs): align Highlights metadata title

Use the Pierre-branded Highlights title in page metadata so browser
and social surfaces match the landing page.

* docs: graduate Edit and promote Highlights (#1180)

* docs(docs): graduate edit mode from beta

Present edit mode as a supported Diffs capability across the landing page
and guide. Remove the beta and experimental notices, and refresh the
product summary to describe the current feature set.

* feat(docs): promote Highlights on Diffs home

Show a focused Highlights promotion before the edit section, with a
responsive benchmark preview and a direct call to action.

Reuse the Highlights hero, card, bar, and benchmark data so the banner
stays aligned with the dedicated product page. Center and cap the graph,
then fade its intentional bottom crop across every viewport size.

* feat(docs): refine the Highlights banner surface

Visitors now see a cleaner Highlights preview with responsive spacing, a
surface-matched fade, and a consistently legible call-to-action.

Move the banner layout into its CSS module, remove the decorative glow,
and add a reusable inverse Button variant for dark promotional surfaces.
