oo flow previously downloaded a pinned command archive on first use, including for help and version queries. Bundle the command exported by @oomol-lab/open-flow@0.1.0-beta.62 into the CLI so these commands work immediately without an additional download.

  • Move Open Flow to a pinned runtime dependency and use its command entry by default.
  • Remove the Flow artifact downloader, verification and cache installation code, download messages, and obsolete cache purge handling.
  • Preserve the local OO_OPEN_FLOW_COMMAND_DIR integration override and existing authentication, team selection, language, and telemetry behavior.
  • Update the English and Chinese command documentation and cover the bundled entry in CLI and compiled binary tests.

Validation: bun run lint:fix, bun run ts-check, and bun run knip passed. The full bun run test passed before the dependency update: 2027 passed, 9 skipped, 0 failed. After integrating Open Flow beta.62 from main, the Flow CLI, compiled binary packaging, and telemetry decision tests passed: 59 passed, 0 failed. The current-platform compiled binary successfully ran flow, flow --help, and flow --version from a temporary directory.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • oo flow now runs the Open Flow CLI bundled with the current release, so help and version queries work offline. Server operations still require a connection.
  • Changes
    • oo flow no longer downloads or caches the CLI, and download progress messages are no longer shown.
    • Uninstall no longer removes cached CLI artifacts.

Walkthrough

oo flow now uses the Open Flow CLI bundled with the current package by default. OO_OPEN_FLOW_COMMAND_DIR can select a local command entry. The release-download implementation, artifact metadata, cache cleanup, and related messages were removed. Tests and English and Chinese documentation were updated for the bundled command.

Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to 3130c

Users can invoke the bundled Flow CLI without downloading it; operations that contact hosted or self-hosted servers still require connectivity. No concrete merge-blocking regression is established.

🟡 Minor · Remove the legacy Open Flow cache during purge. · uninstall.ts:332-337

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Remove the legacy Open Flow cache during purge.

When a user has a cache from an earlier release and runs oo uninstall --purge, the current plan removes only the configuration root and its data directory. The legacy Open Flow cache is under the platform cache root, so it remains after the purge.

Restore the legacy cache target in the purge plan.

Restore the legacy Open Flow command cache to the `--purge` plan by resolving
its platform-specific cache root from the environment, home directory, and
platform, then adding it as a user-data item in `addUserDataItems`. Ensure the
target is `oo/open-flow/command-artifact-v2` under the appropriate cache root.
