Keep only declared columns - rather than have to declare each dropped column

Feature request: In some cases it's easier to say which columns to keep, than which to drop (which we already have with a save=False field on columns) -

How to accomplish: is this a value or list on the Phase instead of being fields on columns?

Next steps - need implementation proposal.
