Monitor Wi‑Fi and Cellular data usage with a clean, native SwiftUI experience.

NetFlow is an open-source iPhone and iPad app for understanding network usage, managing data plans, reviewing usage history, and exporting usage reports. It is designed around Apple's native UI patterns and keeps the experience simple, readable, and privacy-conscious.

• Fixed app icon packaging with explicit iPhone and iPad icon declarations and the updated hnd mark.
• Keeps the last resolved Wi-Fi/Cellular IPv4 visible while VPN is connected instead of flashing to an empty value.
• Refreshes the underlying IPv4 only when the Wi-Fi or Cellular connection signature changes.
• Keeps VPN public IP and country separate from the underlying Wi-Fi/Cellular IPv4.
• Resets the selected plan counter immediately when its cycle has ended, including after reopening the app.
• Keeps previous-cycle usage in History without including it in the current cycle counter.
• Splits samples that cross midnight so the new day does not inherit the previous day's traffic.
• Fixed persistence decoding so a user-selected daily, monthly, yearly, or custom plan survives relaunch.
• Added ISO-8601 date decoding with a legacy date-format fallback.
• Completed the English localization audit, including Settings and language labels.
• About now displays the marketing version, build number, and build date on one line.
• Navigation titles follow the selected app language.
• Location output is limited to commune/ward and province/city without street details or administrative prefixes.

Privacy

NetFlow is intended to keep usage information on the device. The Settings screen states that the app does not record browsing content or send usage data to a server. No account is required to use the app.

Requirements

• macOS with Xcode 15 or later
• iOS 16 or later
• A compatible iPhone, iPad, or Simulator

The exact deployment target and signing requirements are defined by the Xcode project.

Getting started

1. Clone or download this repository.
2. Open the Xcode project or workspace.
3. Select an iPhone, iPad, or Simulator destination.
4. Select a development team if signing is required.
5. Build and run with Product → Run (⌘R).

Network and cellular values can differ between Simulator and a physical device. Use a physical iPhone when validating device-only networking behavior.
