I build scalable backend systems and full-stack applications — and lately, the AI features that sit on top of them.

Right now I'm a Software Engineer at Startise, where I own a large-scale Node.js/Express/MySQL backend, design the REST APIs our React front end consumes, and ship AI-powered features using prompt engineering and contextual retrieval to cut manual work out of users' days.

Before software engineering, competitive programming taught me how to think about problems. I represented my university at the ICPC Asia West Regional and have solved 1500+ problems across online judges. That habit — reduce the problem, then write the smallest correct thing — is still how I approach production code.

Image Identification & Reconstruction with GFP-GAN

Proposed a generative facial prior (GFP) approach leveraging pre-trained face GANs, integrated with spatial feature transform layers, to restore facial detail and colour from degraded inputs. Achieved superior realness and fidelity against prior methods on both synthetic and real-world datasets — restoring in a single forward pass — and developed techniques to dynamically adjust images and backgrounds for improved clarity.
