Two copy fixes found after 1.56.0 (109) went into review. Neither changes the binary.

Mac What's New 1.56 (whatsnew_156/macos-*.txt, 7 store locales, es-ES == es-MX)

The Fixes bullet ended with a clause about Try Demo. The Mac App Store build has no Try Demo button: L10n.auth.tryDemo is used only in iOSLoginView. That clause is gone in every locale. Nothing else in the files changes, and the iOS texts are untouched.

locale before after (characters)
en-US 3457 3329
es-ES / es-MX 3990 3817
ja 2083 2005
ko 2092 2012
zh-Hans 1557 1504
zh-Hant 1584 1527

The ko sentence had to be closed off: 채워지며, became 채워집니다. because the following clause was the one removed.

The store's macOS What's New for 1.56.0 still shows the old text. It will be updated through the ASC API after this merges (dry run, apply, read back), with no change to screenshots, builds or the submissions.

PRIVACY.md › Contact

The Contact section now lists clipulse.support@gmail.com as the email, plus the same security-disclosure line as docs/privacy.html on cli-pulse.github.io. I compared the two files sentence by sentence with markup stripped. The only differences left are "this document"/"this file" versus "this page", and the HTML page's "Related pages" links and footer.

Checks

  • scripts/asc_listing_preflight.py --texts-only --whatsnew-dir whatsnew_156: TEXTS OK. All 7 locales on both platforms are under 4000 characters.
  • scripts/check_release_notes_platforms.sh: OK, 62 files scanned.
  • git grep -i 'demo|デモ|데모|演示|示範' -- 'whatsnew_156/macos-*': no matches.

Not in this PR:

  • docs/release-notes/v1.56.0.md lists Try Demo under "Both apps".
  • The published Developer ID release body (cli-pulse-distrib app-v1.56.0) repeats the old macOS Fixes line.

…the hosted page

- whatsnew_156/macos-*.txt (7 store locales; es-ES == es-MX): the Fixes
  bullet no longer mentions Try Demo. The Mac App Store build has no Try
  Demo button: L10n.auth.tryDemo is used only in iOSLoginView. Nothing
  else in the files changes; the iOS texts are untouched.
- PRIVACY.md, Contact: email clipulse.support@gmail.com, and the same
  security-disclosure line as docs/privacy.html on cli-pulse.github.io, so
  the two stay sentence-identical apart from page/file wording.

…oth apps (#663)

docs/release-notes/v1.56.0.md listed Try Demo under "Both apps". The Mac has
no Try Demo: L10n.auth.tryDemo is used only in iOSLoginView, which shows the
button unconditionally on iPhone and iPad. The bullet moves to a new
"iPhone and iPad" section and says the Mac app has no Try Demo button,
matching the Mac What's New after #662.
