+- Updated `vitest` to 5. Nothing in the suite had to change. Its breaking changes land on things we
+  do not do: `vi.mock` must now be top level rather than merely warned about, and our two calls in

+  `vi.spyOn` for it to clear; the rest concern benchmarks, browser mode, coverage, and the `-t` flag,
