Migrated files shows upload times in UTC without saying so #119

Closed

Description

@amar-python

Found on 27 Oct while working through #116 on the dev machine.

The Uploaded column under "Migrated files" shows times in UTC without saying so. For example, an upload at 02:16 AEDT (+11:00) is shown as 2026-10-26 15:16, which reads as the previous afternoon.

Proposed

Show the upload time in the browser's local time zone, for example 27 Oct 2026, 02:16. Keep the UTC value in a tooltip for audit, and use the same format in the import-history page. Add a vitest test for the formatting.

Done when

The column shows local time, with the test passing and a screenshot attached.

    Reopened under the closure rule: no issue closes without clean evidence attached.

    PR #126 was merged on 27 Oct (14f07e4), with CI 3/3 on 721d1ca. The "Done when" still needs a screenshot from the dev machine showing Migrated files with local times.

    Evidence for closure. On the dev machine on 27 Oct 2026 at 21:41 AEDT, at main 4635328 (PR #126 merged as 14f07e4), Migrated files shows upload times in local time (AEDT, +11:00):

    File Before (UTC, unlabelled) Now
    Transactions (3).csv 2026-10-27 08:33 27 Oct 2026, 19:33
    smoke-116.csv 2026-10-26 15:16 27 Oct 2026, 02:16

    The exact UTC time stays in each time's tooltip.
