📘 Description
Give research projects free web search and page fetching with Parallel Search MCP. Search uses Fast mode, with no account or search API key needed. New built-in research projects use Parallel when no Perplexity key is configured. Existing projects, explicit templates and configured Perplexity credentials keep their selected tools.
Add it to an existing project with
agentstack tools add parallel. Related searches and page fetches share a conversation ID for each run.I work at Parallel.
🧪 Testing
Runtime dispatcher tests cover MCP requests, result consumption, defaults, conversation isolation, errors, cancellation and timeouts. Live anonymous search and page fetching succeeded. The coverage report encounters an existing cookiecutter template parse error.
