Despite the repository name, this app does not open, edit or export PDF files. It is a plain on-screen text editor.
- Black writing page that fills the browser window (the page is 4000 px tall and scrolls)
- Font size picker from 12 px to 60 px
- 12 preset text colors: white, gold and a range of bright neon tones
- Dark interface with a simple toolbar
- Pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript: no build step, no dependencies
- Open the page and start typing on the black page.
- Pick a size from the dropdown or click a color dot. The new size or color applies to the whole text area.
- A
<textarea>cannot show mixed formatting. If text is selected when you change the size or color, the script also wraps the selection in an HTML<span>tag, which shows up in the text as literal markup. - The text is not saved: reloading the page clears it.
