I am a Ph.D. student in Computer and Communication Sciences (EDIC) at EPFL, working in the LiGHT lab under the supervision of Dr. Mary-Anne Hartley. I am also an associate researcher at HSLU under the supervision of Dr. Andreas Marfurt.
My research focuses on reasoning and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with large language models, with a broader interest in long-context reasoning and trustworthy machine learning.
Before EPFL, I was a research assistant at LMU Munich with Prof. Hinrich Schütze, and I interned at the University of Würzburg (CAIDAS) with Prof. Goran Glavaš. I hold an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from Sharif University of Technology.
