• --from-app, a mode switch: the owner did this in the app that runs the tool (WireCat Desktop), so the tool records it as the owner's with no terminal question. It is the app's word, not a security check (memo's decisions).
• Vocabulary words for business records. cli-memo adds products, contracts, subscriptions, wallets and bank transactions (cli-core's business entities plan), and cli-dev lint would report each new command word as unknown. New resources: contracts, subscriptions, prices, wallets, transactions, splits and lines (the rows of an order or an invoice). New verb: match, which links waiting records to what their identifiers name; a name alone never matches, so it is not link. New value flags: --status, --product, --contract, --payment, --refund-of, --wallet, --supplier, --customer, --trial-end-date, --notice-days, --auto-renew, --opening-balance, --opening-date, --institution, --unit, --sku and --archived. --status takes <state>, as memo's task board already does, so a CLI that kept a lint override for --status, such as memo's tasks add, tasks update and tasks move, can drop it.
• --every also takes a count and a calendar unit, such as 1-month, for how often a charge repeats. A timer still takes a <duration>. --interval stays another name for --pause, which flag-synonym refuses.
• Wider meanings, nothing renamed: products covers what the owner buys as well as sells, cancel covers a subscription, and --start-date and --end-date cover a contract as well as an all-day event.

• cli-dev manifest writes contracts/wirecat.json, the file WireCat Desktop reads to add a tool it has not checked. Desktop's catalog entry for a tool outside WireCat was written by hand, and every command word in it was copied from the CLI. cli-dev manifest --program dist/program.js --identity dist/wcat.js now builds it from the command tree (createProgram) and the identity (WCAT, a ManifestIdentity from @wirecat/cli-base/wcat/manifest): each runnable command with its effects (left out, a write) and, with permissionOf, its permission key, then a desktop object holding Desktop's catalog keys. doctor, profiles, setup, runs, skill, mcpServer, sync and storage come from the standard commands, the skills/ folder and the identity's appName and envPrefix; only tagline, signIn and, for a CLI with a sync command, syncs are typed by the developer. The file holds no version, so a release does not make it stale: Desktop reads the version from npm. mcpServer names no port: Desktop gives the tool a free one and fills {port}. It refuses, naming the key, any word Desktop's rule would refuse. --check fails when the file is stale and prints the command that rewrites it. List contracts/wirecat.json in the package's files; it is the one file of contracts/ a package ships (WC-REL-16). manifestSchema and manifestJsonSchema() check a manifest anywhere.
• --wcat-describe answers format 2 when the package ships contracts/wirecat.json. The format-1 keys stay, with "wcat_describe": 2, the file's desktop object and manifest_sha256, the SHA-256 of the file's bytes as shipped,
