The build is failing here because Puppeteer v25 only supports ESM (import) syntax, not CommonJS (require) syntax. We're including Puppeteer the old way in some of our files. I think if we modernize to use import instead, it might get the build passing again.

Thanks @demiankatz , I’m actually looking into this now. I’ve reproduced the failure locally and will try the suggested approach.

@demiankatz, I’ve had a look at this and changed the two Puppeteer test files to use dynamic import() instead.
I also tried using a normal static import, but with the current Jest setup the test files are still running as CommonJS, so that would need a bigger change to the Jest/ESM configuration.
The dynamic import works with the existing setup by running Jest with --experimental-vm-modules as describe in the Jest ESM documentation. I’ve tested it locally and the tests and build are all passing. Does this approach look reasonable to you? If so, I can open a PR with the fix.
