Adds my peer review of the Stability Nexus website as audit/PeerReviewReport.md.

Result: no security vulnerabilities or defects found.

Covered: static export, research paper library and CDN delivery, YouTube seminar player, software catalog and details modal, theme switching script, fonts, link safety, OpenSSF Scorecard and CI workflows, SEO metadata and responsive layout.

Checked with: npm run typecheck, npm run lint, npm run build, and manual testing of the navigation menu, video player and software modal on mobile and desktop.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Added a peer review report summarizing the website’s architecture, the areas reviewed, and the examined security patterns.
    • The report records no identified security vulnerabilities in the reviewed application and notes one low-severity SEO and social-sharing issue: root metadata is missing a description, canonical URL, Open Graph details, and Twitter card details.
    • It also documents verification results and validation limitations.

Scope the security conclusions to the inspected code.

The report excludes dependency advisories, the build pipeline, hosting, and third-party services. Its limited pattern-based inspection cannot support “no security vulnerabilities” without a scope. The theme script supports only the narrower statement that no injection issue was identified in that script. Update the repeated security conclusions to avoid implying complete coverage.

Correct the CDN coverage and rationale in the report.

The Research Library renders all 18 paper.link values, but only 12 use jsDelivr. Six links use non-CDN hosts. Qualify the report and matrix row as 12 of 18 rather than describing all links as CDN-delivered. The repository also does not establish that CDN use was intended to avoid repository bloat or provide global edge caching, so remove that rationale or mark it as unverified.

Suggested fix
-- **Architectural CDN Delivery:** Research whitepaper links point to `cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/StabilityNexus/Papers/...`, which is an intentional architectural pattern that avoids bloating git repository storage and leverages global edge-caching for large PDF documents.
+- **Architectural CDN Delivery:** 12 of 18 featured-paper links point to `cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/StabilityNexus/Papers/...`. The repository does not establish the intent or rationale for this distribution pattern.

## Overall assessment

The review assessed the production codebase of the main organization portal (`https://stability.nexus`). Automated checks and manual inspection of the application source found **no security vulnerabilities** in the areas and patterns listed below, and **one low-severity defect** (Finding 1: missing SEO and social-sharing metadata). The application uses Next.js static HTML export (`output: 'export'`), which removes Next.js request-time server routes; this review does not cover the build pipeline, hosting, or third-party services, and is not a complete security assessment. Key patterns (jsDelivr links for 12 of the 18 research papers, synchronous client-side theme detection, and client-side modal filtering) were examined and work as intended. Static type checking, linting, and production exports completed cleanly with zero warnings or errors.

Narrow the declared review scope for sitemap and robots coverage.

The application source does not generate or include /sitemap.xml or /robots.txt, and the report excludes hosting from coverage. The deployed presence of these artifacts is therefore unknown. Remove these areas from the declared scope, or mark them as unassessed, before retaining the one-defect conclusion.
