Adds the staging-only NEXT_PUBLIC_EDGE_API flag, waits for Clerk before routing reads to the Worker, checks the Clerk azp claim only when present (foreign azp still 403), and chains the staging playtest after the staging deploy so it runs on push.
Verified: deploy + playtest green on 918155d (Worker accepts the signed-in Clerk token; garden flow completes; endpoint closed afterwards).
