Scott Lilly

I've been paid to write custom software for more than 40 years, in dozens of industries, on two continents, and in languages that no longer exist.

These days, I'm working on three things:

  • Games I plan to sell
  • A multi-tenant SaaS
  • The developer tools that make the first two go faster

But, I am available for remote C# work, generally back-end or desktop (WPF).

Currently building

  • MogriChess, a chess variant where a capturing piece absorbs the movement abilities of the piece it takes. The name comes from the Calvin and Hobbes Transmogrifier. The public repo is the original WPF version; the one I am finishing now is a rewrite aimed at Steam.
  • A secret multi-tenant SaaS, which is where the unglamorous work goes: tenancy, audit trails, import and export.
  • Developer tooling, some of it public. SolutionScribe generates the LICENSE, README and other boilerplate documents for a solution.

Also public

Repo What it is
SpeechHandler Speech to text and text to speech on Windows, with local Vosk, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Kokoro and Piper
Legba WPF app for building and reusing LLM prompt prefixes. Named for Papa Legba, who stood at the crossroads and passed messages along
