Ron Bibb

Senior Software Engineer · Azure / .NET · Independent Computational Researcher

Atlanta-area engineer with 35+ years of experience building data-intensive systems, from nuclear operations and enterprise platforms to real-time bid optimization at roughly 11 billion requests per hour. I currently work on healthcare scheduling and integration systems while pursuing an independent research program in computational astrophysics and gravitational physics.

My research repositories preserve favorable, adverse, and incomplete results. The recurring standard is reproducibility: fixed assumptions, explicit stopping conditions, resolution or analytic controls, machine-readable outputs, and claims scoped to what the calculation actually establishes.

ORCID: 0009-0004-1153-2464

Professional focus

  • Technical leadership and delivery: 25+ years leading teams, owning architecture, translating stakeholder needs into executable work, mentoring developers, and carrying releases through production while remaining hands-on.
  • Healthcare platforms: full-stack operations and medical-scheduling systems across Azure and GCP, including React/.NET applications, KPI dashboards, MEDITECH integrations, OCR/document intake, and operational data pipelines.
  • High-scale advertising and data systems: real-time bid optimization at approximately 11 billion requests per hour, CTV product development, and streaming/ETL systems using C#/.NET, Spark/Scala, Kafka, Vertica, Impala, Aerospike, Redis, and MinIO.
  • Platform modernization: repeated migrations from .NET Framework to .NET Core and from AngularJS/legacy middle tiers to React, Next.js, React Native, and direct API architectures.

Areas of interest

Area Central question Representative projects
Galaxy structure and halo phenomenology What radial structure is actually supported by rotation curves, and can central black-hole history be related to halo geometry without fitting the answer into the model? SPARC halo shells, shell-reality controls, covariance sensitivity
Strong-field gravity and Palatini collapse How does quadratic Palatini gravity alter boson-star equilibrium, horizon formation, curvature, and interior geometry relative to controlled GR evolutions? methods paper, equilibrium benchmark, numerical controls
Early-universe compact objects and black-hole seeds Which protected field theories can both produce an early compact population and reach a relativistic collapse branch at the required mass? GR complex-scalar archive, general overlap gate, FDM population gate
Parent/child cosmology and Einstein–Cartan gravity Can a nonsingular interior transition be derived from a fixed action with controlled junctions, constraints, regularity, and physical scaling? equation closure, junction audit, bounded evolution
Gravity projection and extra-dimensional response Can a healthy action produce a causal, normalized gravitational response with the radial reach and lensing behavior required by a halo interpretation? GP-1, repaired interval action, tensor response
Nonlocal gravity and operator health Do regular-black-hole backgrounds retain a well-defined physical principal symbol, adjoint, domain, and functional calculus beyond symmetric control sectors? domain audit, formal adjoint, principal symbol

Outside work: Navy veteran, dog-dad of Princess Buttercup, aphantasic, and strongly inclined toward structural reasoning. I value direct criticism, reproducibility, and knowing when a calculation does not support the hoped-for answer.
