🚀 Why This Script?

To address the many shortcomings of the native driver provided for the X-Touch Mini in Mackie mode, I decided to completely redevelop it. I started from a nearly blank slate, asking myself what features I would want on such a controller, considering its limited number of physical buttons. The license provided on this site is permanent.

🔧 Development Goals:

• Full Mixer Mode:

  • Top buttons → control SOLO tracks
  • Bottom buttons → control MUTE tracks
  • Potentiometers (VPOTs) → control volume

• Advanced Per-Track Mode:

  • Top buttons → assigned to SOLO or MUTE
  • Bottom buttons → control transport
  • Pot assigned to Volume/Utility Gain, Pano, Sends

• Plugin Mode:

  • Acces to all plugins and rack parameters:
    • Smart parameter control of an EQ8 equalizer
    • Manipulation of ADSR functions on a synthesizer
    • Control of racks, drum kit pads
    • Never lose a great sound again. The script includes a Snapshot feature to compare or recall settings

• Navigation Mode via Pots:

  • Zoom, Tempo with A & B memory slots
  • Locator setting and timeline navigation
  • Playhead positioning, loop start, and loop length adjustment

• Complete Strip Mode:

  • Track controls: Solo, Solo exclusive, Mute, Arm, Monitor
  • Mixing parameters: Volume, Pan, Sends A/B/C, Loop definition
  • Transport actions: Punch In & Out
  • Track selection via rotary encoder

🛠️ Installation

1. Download user guide and the compiled files 📦 Scripts compiled
2. Extract all files to C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Standard\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\XTouch_Mini folder without any subfolder
3. Restart Ableton
