BLOB has exactly one font, one size, and one style option (bold). This is not a limitation — it is a choice. The fewer decisions a writer must make about how their words look, the more attention they can give to what those words say.
The toolbar is nearly invisible until you need it. The background is warm parchment. The line height is generous. Everything is designed to get out of the way and let you write.
