PikaReader4Pi

Introduction

The PikaReder4Pi system is a set of python scripts that bridge the PikaReader system with a standard Raspberry Pi system. It allows the GPIO ports on the Pi to start, stop, and show the status of the PikaReader application.

The reference implementation described below will allow you to build a standalone reader with a self-contained battery based power system, an isolated RFID Reader, and a GPS based time sync.
