Use the usual WordPress process to upload and install the opendirectory plugin to your `/wp-content/plugins/` folder (plugin download available from GitHub.com/opendirectoryproject/wp-plugin 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress 3. Create a page to display the web directory (some name suggestions for the page are "Advertise", "Web Directory", "Earn Income", "Open Directory" etc.) and add that page to your menu. 4. Place the shortag [opendirectory] in the page. You can add content above or below as you like. 5. Click the OpenDirectory link (specifically the Opendirectory Install link) in your dashboard and the plugin will search for your ad and configure the plugin automatically. The plugin searches the Open Directory Project database for your advertiser account - you must be registered as an advertiser - free- to activate the plugin. If you haven't, the plugin will guide you. 6. Visit your web directory page and confirm proper operation.
