APEX Theme

APEX is the Bootstrap 5 based OXID Theme for Twig template engine

Installation

Run following commands to install the theme:

composer require oxid-esales/apex-theme

Activation

Via OXID eShop administration panel:

Select the APEX theme and click activation button in:

Extensions --> Themes

Via console:

Execute the following command:

bin/oe-console oe:theme:activate apex

Development

Vite and npm are required to generate theme assets during development.

The asset build requires Node 20.19 or newer. Note that the odd Node release 21 is not supported by the toolchain.

Install the dependencies and build the assets with:

npm install
npm run build

To rebuild automatically on SCSS and JS file changes during development, use watch mode:

npm run watch
