- Around line 7602-7618: Add regression tests for `_update_adp_dummy_role` using
`RequestQueueItem` instances whose requests set `request_type`: verify queued
context-only requests select context, queued generation-only requests select
generation, and context takes precedence in a mixed batch. Ensure the tests fail
if queue-item unwrapping or either `request_type` check is removed.

The remote MPI test's 60-second deadline covers worker startup, task execution, and launcher shutdown. Previous ARM passes took up to 57.7 seconds, and three failing cases completed their client task before the overall deadline expired. Increase the bounded test deadline to 120 seconds while retaining all assertions, exit-code checks, and failure reporting. Signed-off-by: Dongfeng Yu <dongfengy@nvidia.com>
Revert the worker barrier from d952647 and the remote MPI timeout change from e9d3e47. These tests do not exercise the ADP request-type fix and their failures are outside this PR's scope. Retain the ADP type/role fix and its targeted regression coverage. Signed-off-by: Dongfeng Yu <dongfengy@nvidia.com>

Description
#13900 moved ADP dummy-role detection from
validated_requests, which already containedLlmRequestobjects, into_update_adp_dummy_role(), called immediately after routing. At that earlier point, the inputs are stillRequestQueueItemwrappers. The move left the parameter type as
List[LlmRequest]and continued readingllm_request_typefrom each input. The wrappers do not have that field, so the helper misses the request's role. This code later reached main through #15222.This PR changes the input type to
list[RequestQueueItem], readscandidate.request.request_typedirectly, and updates the tests to use queue-item inputs.Test Coverage
tests/unittest/_torch/executor/test_py_executor.pyon ComputeLab: 253 passed, with no skips or errors.RequestQueueItemwrappers and cover context/generation roles, role changes, disabled attention DP, non-disaggregated workers, both mixed-role orderings, and empty candidates.git diff --checkpassed.PR Checklist
