Make quick keyboard shortcuts work in text boxes #32
I want Command-A followed by a replacement letter to work even when I press and release the shortcut quickly. Editing should not depend on holding the keys until the next frame.
The browser menu can miss a shortcut when both keys are released before the next frame. The text control sees that Command is no longer held and misses the selection. This makes name editing unreliable even after Windy recognizes the Command keys.
Reproduced while testing the menu in PR #9. That PR does not fix this timing problem. Ordinary typing, key mapping, and focus are tracked in #28. A fix needs to prove that a complete press-and-release between frames selects the text and that the next letter replaces it, without breaking ordinary typing.
Fixed upstream by merged Silky #69. Focused text boxes now drain an ordered event queue with modifiers captured at event time, preserving complete Control/Command-A press-and-release sequences followed by replacement text between frames. Regression tests cover same-batch and next-frame replacement, and the real browser demo was verified. Merged Windy #196 provides the shared browser keyboard and text callbacks.
Closing this separate bug tracker as fixed upstream. Polyworld main and PR #9 still pin older dependencies; the required Silky 0.2.0 migration, dependency update, rebuild, and downstream verification remain tracked in #26 and PR #9.
