- Delete .github/dependabot.yml; close all open Dependabot PRs and disable Dependabot alerts/automated security updates at the repo level. Action and dependency bumps will be done manually. - Delete .github/workflows/scorecard.yml and drop the OpenSSF Scorecard and OpenSSF Best Practices badges from the README. - Bump to 0.5.4 and document the removal in CHANGELOG.
