The Markdown here is the source of truth; running the site turns it into a
visual brand toolkit styled in the client's own palette and typefaces. Colour
swatches, contrast tables, type specimens, spacing scales and do/don't cards
are all generated from brand.json and the fenced blocks in these files, so
the guide can never disagree with the tokens.
cd site && npm install && npm run devClaude — .claude/skills/brand-editor/ teaches any Claude session with
repo access how to edit this brand safely: which file owns which fact, the
branch-and-PR workflow, and what needs client sign-off.
Studio — node studio/server.mjs opens a local editor at
http://localhost:4321 for colour pickers, live contrast, and Markdown editing
with block previews. It writes to these files directly; commit with git as
normal.
Edit the Markdown and JSON files directly. The published site is generated from them — never edit the site content by hand.
