Publishes the first two Main Blogs from the Rank One cluster plan.

Posts

  • /blog/what-is-a-local-first-notes-app: 1,983 words, banner + 5 figures, offline simulator, local-first scorecard, Dart save-path snippet.
  • /blog/notes-app-privacy-red-flags: 1,996 words, banner + 5 figures, red flag checker, privacy policy decoder, adb permission snippet.

Blog engine

  • :::widget <name> places an interactive client component (src/components/blog/).
  • An image alone in a paragraph renders as a captioned <figure> with width and height from the PNG.
  • Anchored headings, an In this article list, scrollable tables, a reading progress bar, an always-visible Last updated date.
  • Fixes list bullets in .prose (Tailwind preflight removed them).

Checks

  • next build passes. npm run test:smoke: 24 of 24 pass.
  • Pipeline validator passes on both posts. Duplicate-text check against every draft: highest overlap 0.4%.
  • Checked in a local production build at desktop and mobile widths. All four widgets work. No horizontal overflow.

Merging publishes both posts.

Adds two guides from the Rank One plan:
- What Is a Local First Notes App and Why Does It Matter? (L1)
- Notes App Privacy in 2026: 9 Red Flags to Check First (P1)

Each has a banner plus five figures in the Technical Editorial design
system, two interactive widgets, a code snippet, a table, and an FAQ.

Blog engine: :::widget lines place client components (offline simulator,
local-first scorecard, red flag checker, policy decoder). Images alone
in a paragraph render as captioned figures with intrinsic sizes. H2s get
anchors and an In this article list. Tables scroll in a frame. Adds a
reading progress bar and an always-visible Last updated date.

The figure generator lives in Atomic-Blog-Generation-Pipeline/visuals.

npm audit --audit-level=high failed in CI on a new advisory for sharp
<0.35.5 (a librsvg vulnerability), which Next.js pulls in. npm audit fix
updates only the sharp and @img/sharp-* packages in the lockfile.

The remaining moderate advisory (sprintf-js via gray-matter) has no
non-breaking fix and is below the CI audit level.
