P2: Removing the old GIFs from these two pages while also deleting the static assets leaves the same images still referenced (and now broken) in the July 2024 news post docs/_includes/news/20240711.md, its built copy docs/news/20240711-01.md, and docs/rss.xml. Either keep those references valid or update/remove them too so no page shows a missing image.
