Yes, they are unrelated, feel free to merge. The more important thing is to upstream the PR. Another bigger (yet unrelated) problem is that the ORC fork repository is in a state of total mess due to repeated quick-fixing the code in the past without proper branch structure. This describes how it's supposed to be done. That's something to be addressed separately. |
