Control and Automation Engineer (IPN ESIME Zacatenco), based in Mexico City.
I maintain and troubleshoot elevators and escalators in the field, and I previously worked on vertical and horizontal transport systems for Metro CDMX, Cablebús and Mexicable. In my own time I build small industrial data pipelines that take PLC signals into databases and dashboards. My goal is to connect what happens on the plant floor with the data maintenance teams use to make decisions.
| Project | What it shows | Stack |
|---|---|---|
| Industrial PLC InfluxDB Dashboard | PLC signals stored in a time-series database and monitored in Grafana. Third version of the same pipeline | CODESYS, Modbus TCP, Python, InfluxDB 2.7, Grafana |
| Conveyor Belt with Product Sorter | Ladder logic with start/stop interlock, product sorting, counting and fault indication | Siemens S7-1500, TIA Portal V21, PLCSIM |
- Maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, availability) from work order data, with SQL and Power BI
- Condition monitoring on top of my PLC pipeline, with analog signals and fault detection rules
- DC-3 (STPS) in PLC Programming, Siemens
- DC-3 (STPS) in PLC Programming, Allen-Bradley (in progress)
