Summary

The default-branch README already had a first-launch Gatekeeper note (sudo xattr -r -c for a generic warning). That step is now the macOS 26 “can't verify MacOSCleaner” flow: move the app to /Applications, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MacOSCleaner.app. Only for the DMG from the official GitHub Releases page. The release build is ad-hoc signed (DEVELOPMENT_TEAM empty; the build workflow does not submit the app to Apple).

Testing performed

Docs-only. Checked MacOSCleaner/project.yml and .github/workflows/build.yml on release before editing.
