Preserves legacy annotation prefix required by ExternalDNS v0.22; explicit sync policy already configured. Server dry-run passed. A one-shot v0.22 Cloudflare dry run using the deployed service account and this prefix completed with 'All records are already up to date', no planned DNS changes. Reviewed migration fix included in this head.

Migration completed in the merged PR: explicitly preserve external-dns.alpha.kubernetes.io/ annotations. A v0.22 one-shot --dry-run --once run against the live Cloudflare setup reported all records already up to date. Post-merge chart 1.22.0 is Ready, the prefix is present in live args, and observed reconciliation had no provider writes or DNS deletion plans. |
