Final-year electrical engineering student at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, graduating in 2027. My work centres on control and system modelling, and I plan to continue with an MSc in control and systems engineering.
- Research. Energy management for a hydrogen-integrated microgrid under a TÜBİTAK 2209-A grant, and model predictive control for renewable-powered HVAC systems, both with preprints in preparation.
- Internships. Control and digitalization at Siemens Energy, where I developed HMIs and took part in lab commissioning on the Omnivise T3000 DCS and also worked with SCADA and PLC systems, and avionics engineering at Turkish Technic on autopilot and flight controls, which led me to build RCAM-Flight-Dynamics on my own.
- Projects. Simulation and design work across power electronics, flight dynamics and industrial automation, with the main ones pinned below and course projects named after their course code, such as ELM-3071.
Outside coursework I like low-level programming, embedded systems and network tools, and I enjoy building small side projects, from Termux and Tasker utilities on my phone to a circuit puzzle game and a few game mods. I have played the piano since I was 5 and hold an ABRSM Grade 8 certificate.
Older commits appear under the name Nikolai Andrew, which is also me.
