Can't run newly checkout trunk source code

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Checkout the trunk source
2. Created a codefight database
3. Went to localhost/codefight-cms/codefight/in-stall
4. Type in my MySQL credentials, submit
5. Installation complete, went to site
6. An Error Was Encountered

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of the home page, I encountered an error stating:

In order to use the Session class you are required to set an encryption key in 
your config file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Development trunk

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi, install hasn't been tested on newer versions so renamed to in-stall to 
disable it.

please try steps from here until install is upgraded to support new version.
