# Video-React
> Video-React is deprecated and receives security fixes only until January 2028. Mux maintains Video-React and builds Video.js 10 together with the teams behind Video.js, Vidstack, Plyr, and Media Chrome. New projects should use Video.js 10, and existing Video-React integrations should migrate.
> The `video.js` package on npm is still Video.js 8. Video.js 10 ships as `@videojs/react` and `@videojs/html`.
## Migrate from Video-React
Follow the prompt in the migration guide's "AI Quickstart" section. Compare the guide's "Known gaps" section with the features the project uses before changing code.
- [Migrate from Video-React](https://videojs.org/docs/framework/react/guides/migrate-from-video-react.md): Maps `Player` props, control bar children, the player ref, and Redux state to Video.js 10
## Video.js
- [Video.js](https://videojs.org?utm_source=video-react): The open-source video player for React and HTML
- [Video.js React llms.txt](https://videojs.org/docs/framework/react/llms.txt): Index of every Video.js 10 React guide and reference page in Markdown
- [Video.js skill for AI coding agents](https://github.com/videojs/skills): Install with `npx @videojs/cli agents skills` for version-matched documentation
## Video-React (maintenance mode)
- [Video-React source](https://github.com/video-react/video-react): Readme and source, kept for existing users
- [Video-React on npm](https://www.npmjs.com/package/video-react): Deprecated; security fixes only until January 2028
