I'd like to try this out, and can see variants are used and therefore c++17 is needed. I'm using a Raspbian Linux, and the GCC version is 4.9. Will this work if I try the experimental gcc 6.1 ? Which compiler did you use ?

I have been using Clang from the SVN trunk on OSX. However, these sources include my own (partial) implementation of Variant because Clang was missing it at the time when I was writing this code. I think now there is one in the Clang's SVN trunk.

I hope you’ll get this compiled on Linux by modifying the make file i.e. by changing the complier and its parameters. The Makefile is fairly simple. (You might need to tune some includes in the source for Linux)

You also need the googletest to run the unit test.
