luci-app-https-dns-proxy version 2025.12.29-r2 Attempts to Use Missing Function on Overview page #14

Description

@emabrey

Installing luci-app-https-dns-proxy version 2025.12.29-r2 on OpenWrt 24.10.5 r29087-d9c5716d1d / LuCI openwrt-24.10 branch 26.012.02584~e2228c0 causes an error on the overview page that states "TypeError hdp.getRuntime is not a function":

TypeError hdp.getRuntime is not a function

I installed https-dns-proxy-2025.12.29 r2 and r1 and this issue with luci-app-https-dns-proxy-2025.12.29-r2 was present on both. I was able to fix the issue by downgrading luci-app-https-dns-proxy to version 2025.12.29-r1, so there must be some kind of regression with r2 that causes it to try to load the missing function.

Based off a look at the code I'm guessing it can't load it on line 17 of the overview page, but I don't see any recent changes that would explain why the hdp include suddenly doesn't have a function it had before. Perhaps it's a linking/build issue. If you need more information about my environment/reproducing just let me know.
