patch-hub currently has just under 15% test coverage; low test coverage makes it difficult to detect regressions when making changes.
The low test coverage is primarily caused by architectural barriers rendering components difficult to test.
Current State
As of March 15th, patch-hub has less than 15% test coverage. Existing tests focus primarily on utility functions. Core business logic remains largely untested and UI components have minimal test coverage.
Proposed Improvements
- Define what components should be tested and how
- Establish guidelines for writing testable code
- Set coverage targets for different types of code
