Events issue

I've been using this library to query for events from a list of ~500 popular artists and I get no results. My code worked fine up untill a couple months ago. Wondering if anything changed?

It appears that Last.fm have (temporarily??) removed lots of API methods, among them artist.getEvents, which now simply returns "Invalid Method - No method with that name in this package" for me.
