NuHeat API Returning 404

I noticed my NuHeat integration in Home Assistant went offline last night. While troubleshooting, it appears that https://api.mynuheat.com/ is now returning a 404 error. I haven't been able to find any indication that that is the case, so I'm posting here to share, confirm others are seeing the same issue, and collaborate on learning what is going on.

Can confirm — seeing related symptoms from the Home Assistant integration side (which depends on this library).

HA's built-in NuHeat integration fails config flow setup with a generic "Unable to connect" error, no useful detail in HA logs (the exception isn't logged at that stage).
The web login at mynuheat.com is also currently broken for me.
curl -I https://api.mynuheat.com/ returns a clean 405 Method Not Allowed with allow: GET — so the root API gateway is up and responding normally, this isn't a full outage.
Nuheat's own Swagger docs (api.mynuheat.com/swagger and api.nam.mynuheat.com/swagger) now state the API uses OAuth2 and OpenID-Connect, and that 3rd-party API access requires contacting Nuheat support for a registered ClientID. There's also a live IdentityServer4 instance at identity.nam.mynuheat.com.

This looks like Nuheat may have migrated their backend to a proper OAuth2/OIDC flow, which would explain why the old direct username/password POST to /api/authenticate/user this library uses no longer works — not a transient bug, but a breaking auth change upstream. Flagging in case that helps narrow down root cause. Happy to test anything if useful.

I spoke to their support and they have migrated to a new app. They claim the API will survive, but it is not yet working for me

They did provide me the following communication:

What are the advantages for the users:

all thermostats in the same APP (Conductor and Signature)
The new APP has better UX design and has way more modern look and feel
The Energy features in the new app are better
The grouping of the thermostats and creation of various homes is possible in the new app
There are multiple schedules saved in the APP, so changing/switching schedules is easier
There are more features in the APP (especially for the Conductor thermostats – including the setup of the thermostat via Bluetooth – note this is not valid for Signature thermostats

What about the connectivity features and the 3rd party API?

Like the thermostats, all 3rd party API are migrating at the same time as the thermostats.
It is possible that some of the integrations will have some issues in the first 1 or 2 days, but eventually Wednesday, all issues should be resolved
Your thermostats will move to the new app automatically.

This component seems like it will no longer function due to API changes by the vendor. For Home Assistant, I have moved to this component: https://github.com/SmilesGalore/HA-Nuheat-Conductor

Oh, nice, thanks for pointing that out. I have just configured it, and it seems to work, though I see a bug with the display units.
